Dennett Rehab Center, a beautiful 99‑bed skilled nursing facility in Oakland, Maryland, is seeking a compassionate and caring Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a GNA at Dennett Rehab Center, you'll be part of a dedicated team that provides top‑notch care and compassion to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding)
Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators
Report changes in residents' conditions promptly to nursing staff
Support residents' emotional and social well‑being with kindness and respect
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver individualized care
Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives
Qualifications
Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) in Maryland
A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and vulnerable populations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
