Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Technician, under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Manager or Registered Pharmacist, assists with routine pharmacy responsibilities. These include preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, preparing reports, managing automated systems, and maintaining records. The Technician works only under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and does not perform duties that legally can only be performed by a registered pharmacist.

Compensation
The compensation range for the role is $24.20–$31.02 per hour. This range complies with State law on Salary Transparency. It does not include bonuses, incentive pay or other benefits.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High school Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Demonstrated knowledge of mathematical skills including ability to perform complex weight and measure calculations, percentages, division operations, and decimal point manipulation. General data entry skills and excellent written and verbal skills are required.
Required Certification/Registration:
PTCB Certification and registration.
Working Conditions
Works in a clean, well‑lighted, heated or ventilated facility with exposure to machinery, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. Frequent contact with co‑workers, other medical center employees, patients, visitors and physicians.
Physical demands include full range of motion, visual and aural acuity, finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment, ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods, carry objects and push/pull carts, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Mental demands: foster collaborative relationships, work well under pressure, organize and synthesize new information, prioritize tasks, demonstrate critical thinking, analytical skills, flexibility, multi‑tasking, detailed attention in an environment with frequent interruptions, adapt to changes, and quick response capability to emergent requests. May include irregular hours such as evenings or weekends as needed.
