Veterinary Assistant
Carolina Ranch Animal Hospital and Resort, a state‑of‑the‑art veterinary hospital and resort in Garner, NC, is looking for an experienced full‑or part‑time veterinary assistant to join our team. Our unique hospital and luxury pet resort offers a fun, fast‑paced, team‑oriented working environment. We also offer monthly lunch‑n‑learns about new products and services.
Preferred / Required
Veterinary experience of at least two years is required. The preferred candidate should have basic veterinary knowledge, such as the following:
vaccine protocols
heartworm and flea prevention
animal handling/husbandry
venipuncture and running lab tests
anesthetic monitoring, intubation, and catheter placement
Candidate must also have good computer and organizational skills, attention to detail, a sense of humor, upbeat personality, and great customer service skills.

Hours
