All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.### Position OverviewCandidates will be considered for a **General Maintenance** position in the **Facilities Department**, opening on the **B shift**. This position requires working **12‐hour rotating shifts (2,2,3 schedule)** and weekends; **overtime is required**.General Maintenance Technicians are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain **safe, reliable, and efficient production**. Must be able to complete computerized training programs using the **Tyson SAP software**.### General Maintenance candidates will be expected to master skills in the area of equipment **installation, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing**, including:* Hydraulic systems* Plumbing systems* Air systems* Electrical devices* Reading P&IDs* Some operation of powered industrial lifting equipment* Any other equipment or systems as needed* Interface with operation personnelMust be able to use math as needed to complete work‐related computations for machinery speeds and ratios, fluid capacities, critical dimensions, etc. Must be willing to bend, twist, reach, and move around the department and have the ability to work on the floor and on or under industrial equipment. Must be able to lift up to **50 lbs.** if required.This position requires candidates to perform tasks in a **refrigerated environment** with temperatures ranging from **30 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit**.To be qualified for maintenance, candidates must be willing and able to complete all required skilled trades training courses necessary for the required time period. Must be able to communicate effectively in both **verbal and written** form to understand safety instructions, complete training materials, and document maintenance activities using company systems.Preference will be given to applicants who have completed formal industrial technical training from an accredited skilled trades program such as **industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or advanced manufacturing**.### Position open to candidates within the country of the posted position.# # **Requirements*** **Must have at least (12) twelve months of industrial Maintenance experience in (2) two or more of the following disciplines:**

*(Experience may be from multiple employers as long as it totals at least (12) twelve months.)**** **Completion of an Industrial Maintenance/Automation Technology certificate from a US‐based technical school with classroom and hands‐on training will be considered in lieu of experience.*** **A combination of practical experience and formal education will also be considered.*** **Must be able to read, write, and interpret equipment manuals and technical instructions where required.*** **Oral and written communication skills required.*** **Basic computer skills required.**Our team members make the difference.
