Early Intervention Coordinator

We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Industrial Specialist to supervise the Early Intervention services in the manner set forth below, appreciating the priority of operational processes and efficiency at our industrial facility in Canton, MS. We strive to increase the industrial athlete’s ability to perform their job duties safely and decrease the risk of injury through intervention at the early onset of discomfort in a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities

Coordinate the work of the Early Intervention Specialist team

Perform Process Improvement Assessments

Monitor Staff and ESI coverage

Attend meetings with clients and present reporting data

Organize and implement new projects and ideas

Continuous improvement of Early Intervention processes

Qualifications
A background in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Health & Wellness, Health Promotion, Public Health, Physical Education, Fitness, Personal Training, and Athletics.

CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)

Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred

The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift

Previous ergonomic and/or occupational health experience is a plus

A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication

The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision

Be able to maintain confidentiality

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
