We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Industrial Specialist to supervise the Optimal Placement services in the manner set forth below, appreciating the priority of operational processes and efficiency at our industrial facility in Canton, MS. We strive to increase the industrial athlete’s ability to perform their job duties safely and decrease the risk of injury through intervention at the early onset of discomfort in a dynamic work environment. What will you be doing in this role?
Perform all site Physical Demand Analysis / Support all Early Intervention activities
Oversee all site PDA program activities
Physical Demand Analysis
Coordinate PDA timeline
Coordinate with Safety points of contact
Assist in coordinating PDA data acquisition
Identify trends in ESI/PDA/Job Observations data
Participate in Safety Incident and Case Review meetings
Coordinate "Go and See" activities with Safety relative to PDAs
IE collaboration for PDA activities
Continuous improvement of PDA processes
Develop and maintain program KPIs
Coordinate new model launch activities
Administer restrictions management, medical restrictions database for RTW

Our ideal candidate will have:
“A background in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Health & Wellness, Health Promotion, Human Performance, Public Health, Physical Education, Fitness, Personal Training, and Athletics”.
CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
Previous ergonomic and/or occupational health experience is a plus
A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
Be able to maintain confidentiality
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
