
AMDA Admissions Student Worker

AMDA College of the Performing Arts is seeking motivated, professional, and high‑energy students to join the Admissions team for the Summer 2026 semester.
Student Workers play an important role in supporting AMDA’s recruitment efforts while serving as welcoming ambassadors of the AMDA community. This position offers hands‑on professional experience in public speaking, event support, and prospective student engagement, while contributing meaningfully to how new students and families experience our campuses.
We are looking for students who are enthusiastic, dependable, and excited to share AMDA life both inside and outside the classroom.
Position Overview
The Admissions Student Worker serves as a first point of contact for prospective students and families visiting campus. This role reports to the Admissions leadership team and requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to represent AMDA with confidence and authenticity.
Student Workers in this role support campus tours, auditions, and recruitment events while helping prospective students envision themselves as part of the AMDA community.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct campus tours for prospective students and families
Provide guidance and support during audition days
Assist with in‑person recruitment and admissions events
Deliver a welcoming and positive guest experience
Serve as guides at special events
Make phone calls to prospective students as needed
Represent AMDA in a professional and engaging manner
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Currently enrolled AMDA student for the Summer 2026 semester (employment in this department is open to 2nd – 6th semester students)
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Confident public speaker
Professional, reliable, and responsive
Desire to work with and support prospective students

Employment Details
Must be enrolled for the Summer 2026 semester
Student employees are paid minimum wage in accordance with applicable state and local law
Work schedules are arranged around academic commitments
Student Worker positions are hired on a semester‑to‑semester basis and continued employment is not guaranteed beyond the current term
