
AMDA Communications & Engagement Student Worker

AMDA College of the Performing Arts is seeking motivated, creative, and professional students to join the Communications & Engagement team for the Summer 2026 semester. Student Workers play an important role in supporting AMDA’s outreach efforts while serving as authentic ambassadors of the AMDA experience. This position offers hands‑on professional experience in digital engagement, community building, and content creation; while contributing meaningfully to how prospective students connect with our campuses. We are looking for students who are dependable, proactive, and excited to represent AMDA both inside and outside the classroom.
The Communications & Engagement Student Worker supports AMDA’s prospective student engagement efforts through the ZeeMee platform. This role reports to the Social Media & Content Manager and requires strong written communication skills, professionalism in digital environments, creativity, and the ability to balance academic responsibilities with part‑time employment. Student Workers in this role help foster meaningful online connections, respond to prospective student inquiries, and create engaging content that reflects the authentic AMDA student experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Engagement
Maintain an active and professional ZeeMee College Influencer profile
Monitor ZeeMee message boards and chats to assist prospective students with AMDA‑related questions
Respond in a timely manner to “Ask a Counselor,” “General,” and “Ask a Current Student” chats
Collaborate with the Communications & Engagement team to develop creative in‑platform engagement activities that foster connection
Content Creation
Share the AMDA experience through creative digital content, including (but not limited to):
Day‑in‑the‑life posts
Rehearsals and performances
Behind‑the‑scenes moments
Student life highlights
Post a minimum of two (2) original pieces of content per week on the ZeeMee platform
Represent AMDA in a welcoming, professional, and authentic manner
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Currently enrolled AMDA student for the Summer 2026 semester
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Strong written communication skills
Professional and responsive in digital spaces
Creative, reliable, and able to manage deadlines
Desire to connect with and support prospective students

Position Information
Must be enrolled for the Summer 2026 semester (employment in this department is open to 2nd – 6th semester students).
Student employees are paid minimum wage in accordance with applicable state and local law.
Work schedules are arranged around academic commitments.
Student Worker positions are hired on a semester‑to‑semester basis and continued employment is not guaranteed beyond the current term.
