
Data Center Tech - Night Shift

Data Center Operations Technician: Supports hardware and software installation, configuration, operation and ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center. Operates, monitors and performs basic troubleshooting of equipment, networks, and data processing/batching; assists with logging and documentation of equipment and processes. Responsibilities may also include cabling, racking and server installations.
Job Functions
Ability to work a regularly scheduled Night shift operations shift (5:30pm – 5:30am) 7 days on 7 off.
Operate all SG computer systems in accordance with established schedules and quality guidelines
Strong attention to detail is required to ensure all aspects of the operational environment are maintained
Log routine activities and report or promptly elevate problems to management for resolution
Ability to work with SG field service staff, members of retailer base and Lottery staffs to troubleshoot and resolve different situations
Other duties as assigned
Education
Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
Position Requirements / Qualifications
Prior experience with LINUX and/or Microsoft products, and Windows based systems.
Ability to quickly learn and understand new terms and technologies
Strong time management skills
Personal punctuality and dependable job attendance
Skills / Abilities
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
Must have average organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift 20 lbs
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and stretch at a minimum of 50% of the time for any or all of the movements described.
