Airport Maintenance Technician , you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a wide variety of airport facilities and systems that support passengers, airlines, and operations 24/7. This is a hands‑on, highly skilled position ideal for technicians who enjoy variety, problem‑solving, and working in a dynamic environment.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building systems throughout airport terminals and support facilities—both indoors and outdoors, in all conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on airport facilities and systems including:
Elevators and conveyor systems
Mechanical and HVAC/air handling units
Lighting, fire protection, plumbing, and steam systems
Communication and radio systems
Install, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems and devices ranging from
110V, 220V, and 480V
Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage AC/DC electrical systems
Execute preventive maintenance and general building maintenance activities
Read and interpret wiring schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
Work independently without direct supervision to complete assigned tasks
Support airport operations across all shifts , including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations
Work outdoors in all weather conditions as required
Required Skills & Experience
Strong working knowledge of
general building maintenance
with an emphasis on electrical troubleshooting
Experience with
industrial wiring
and following electrical schematics
Ability to perform low‑and high‑voltage electrical repairs
Hands‑on experience maintaining related building trades and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, and conveyors
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum
24 months of experience in at least three
of the following disciplines:
Electrical
Structural/Carpentry
HVAC
Mechanical
Electronics diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Valid, clean state driver’s license
Must provide own basic hand tools
