Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt, Temporary

Reports to: Director of Volunteer Engagement & Youth Enrichment Programs

Salary: $25.00 / Hour

This is a temporary, grant‑funded position expected to run from May through August 2026. Based on performance and available funding, there may be an opportunity for transition into a full‑time, permanent role.

Position Summary
CIS of Central Texas is currently seeking to hire two temporary, full‑time Summer Youth Enrichment Coordinators. This role supports the successful delivery of CIS summer programming by ensuring that daily operations run smoothly, youth experiences are engaging and well‑structured, and staff and partners are aligned. Working under the guidance of the Director of Volunteer Engagement & Youth Enrichment Programs, the Summer Youth Engagement Coordinator serves as a key connector across program sites, balancing logistics, relationships, and program quality to create a safe, enriching environment for students.

What You’ll Do
Partnership & Engagement Support

Support partnerships with volunteers, community organizations, and enrichment providers

Assist in coordinating field trips, guest speakers, and external program experiences

Support the planning and execution of family engagement events

Program Operations & Data Tracking

Maintain accurate program records, attendance, and required documentation

Track participation and assist with collecting outcome data for reporting purposes

Gather feedback from students, staff, and partners to support program evaluation

Ensure alignment with agency expectations, funder requirements, and safety guidelines

Communication Skills

Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, students, families, and partners

Provide timely updates and escalate concerns to the Director as needed

Demonstrate active listening and strong interpersonal communication skills

Maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling sensitive information

Public Relations Skills

Represent CISCT professionally and positively at program sites and events

Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners

Adapt communication style to meet the needs of diverse audiences

Teaching & Facilitation Support

Support and occasionally facilitate enrichment activities as needed

Help create a structured, engaging, and inclusive environment for youth

Reinforce program expectations and behavior guidelines

Administrative Support

Assist with budget tracking, purchasing, and supply coordination

Support preparation of agreements, logistics, and program documentation

Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem‑solving efforts

Promote and uphold agency culture, standards, and systems

What You Bring

Experience working with youth and family

Ability to coordinate and facilitate cross‑collaborative work groups for multiple teams, contractors, and vendors

Ability to budget, create, and manage bookings and reservations, negotiate contracts and fees with vendors, and pay invoices

Experience managing inventory and using systems to track and manage supplies and materials

Ability to track and assess data for reporting purposes

Strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Forms, Teams, and Excel, and experience with technology including online survey tools and event/participant tracking systems

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with frequent changes and minimal supervision

Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

CPR certified, highly preferred

Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and active vehicle insurance required
