Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance, including mowing.
The Building Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for:
Performing a variety of work in general maintenance and repair of building facilities and equipment.
Resolving minor and major mechanical repairs or aesthetic issues.
Performing minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flush valves, plunge toilets, paint and/or wallpaper, and carpet repairs. Occasional tile work and water disaster cleanup may be required.
Performing general building preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, doors, locks and hardware. Maintaining environmental conditions.
Checking lights and changing light bulbs/ballasts as needed.
Mowing and maintaining grounds at all company facilities.
Sprinkler maintenance and repair.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Three or more years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Possess a valid Texas Drivers license.
