Forklift Operator
Location: Lodi, CA
Pay: $20.10/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 4 AM – 1:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious forklift operator to join our team in Lodi, CA. This role is essential to our warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving
Load and unload customer trailers with products.
Verify and maintain records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Compare identifying information and inspect shipments to ensure accuracy against invoices and orders.
Product Handling & Labeling
Ensure correct labeling of products for shipment and receipt.
Wrap pallets, affix standard and special customer labels, and scan into the system.
Move pallets from production to warehouse freezers and stack appropriately.
Documentation & System Use
Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading and other required paperwork.
Input shipment and inventory data into computer systems and scanner tools.
Equipment Operation
Safely operate forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, clamps, wrap machines, cranes, clamper, and yard trucks.
Conduct daily equipment inspections using a checklist and report any damage.
Change forklift batteries as needed.
Warehouse Support
Transport finished products and ingredients to and from the production floor.
Handle product returns and ensure proper placement.
Safety & Physical Requirements
Safely lift items ranging from 10–30 lbs; seek assistance for heavier loads.
Work in varying temperature environments including cold freezers and hot dock areas.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and scanners.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work in physically demanding and temperature-variable environments.
