SUMMARY
The 2nd Shift Bindery/Shipping Associate assists the Plant Manager in day‐to‐day operations of the Bindery and Shipping Departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to use pump jack, electric jack, or forklift to move job material throughout the plant
QC packaging of jobs according to directions listed on job bag.
Generate and affix carton labels according to job pack out instructions.
Assist in packing boxes for shipments.
Generate shipping documents that include Bills of Lading (BOL’s), shipping labels, and packing labels.
Ensure pallets are labeled correctly and appropriate shipping documents are attached.
Secure pallets for shipping using shrink wrap or strapping.
Stage pallets in the Shipping Department for shipping the next day.
Keep the Bindery and Shipping areas neat and organized.
Perform other duties as requested.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Previous Shipping/warehouse experience.
Previous experience operating Hi‑Lo, forklift, and electric pallet jack.
Knowledge of using a computer for data entry
Knowledge of general maintenance procedures
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
