About the Role
The opportunity has opened up for a Packaging Operator to join our Packaging team and continue to champion our values in focusing on producing high-quality, consistent, and award-winning beers.
Parrotdog was conceived in 2011 out of a love for good beer by three guys called Matt. Today, we’re continuing to do what they started back then: making approachable, award-winning beer from our rapidly expanding brewery in Lyall Bay, Wellington.
Responsibilities
Operating machinery, including managing two can fillers, keg filler, in-line carbonator, depalletiser, cluster packer, carton packer and out-packing equipment
Adhering to all aspects of our Health & Safety and Food Safety Programmes
Championing our quality programme
Setting up and managing the packaging line and systems
Managing run completions and the associated inventory management
Manual labour, general warehousing and assistance in packaging & delivery
Qualifications
An understanding of counter-pressure and/or atmospheric filling and seaming technology
Experience operating in breweries or similar manufacturing environments
Competent skills in mechanical knowledge and fault diagnosis
High work standards and a great attention to detail
A passion for quality beer
