Position Overview
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Stand‑Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio.
Pay and Incentives
Up to $26 per hour (including productivity incentives).
Base pay: $23.00 per hour
.50 increase after 6 months and 1 year
Overtime pay: $34.50 per hour
Productivity incentives: up to an extra $10 per hour
Monthly attendance bonuses
Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 paid in four installments at 30, 60, 90, and 180 days
Schedule Flexibility
Day shift options: Sun‑Wed 4:30am – 4:00pm or Sun‑Wed 5:30am – 5:00pm
44‑55 hours per week
11‑hour shift
2‑month schedule given in advance for family planning

Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience, preferred
