Work week requirements: Full-time, 40 hr./week, Mon-Fri, 8am – 5pm, year-round, in-person

Job Duties
Act as the Jury Coordinator and lead worker in the Marriage License & Jury Management Department
Issue summons to potential jurors for upcoming jury trials
Maintain and keep up-to-date juror panels for the courts
Pay jurors
Accept and issue marriage licenses
Work with the public in routine and difficult situations
Establish/maintain effective communication with District Court employees, judges, public, and other agencies
Perform other assignments as designated by the Clerk of the District Court
Required Education and Experience
Graduation from high school and one year of court or legal experience.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
Computer experience, organizational skills, and time management skills are essential.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Understanding of court procedures, policies, and Kansas laws to make decisions accordingly.
Ability to work collaboratively with court staff and other stakeholders.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Exemplary customer service skills is a plus.
