The Job
The Maintenance Assistant will support and assist in development and implement the communities’ maintenance policies and procedures in an efficient, cost‑effective manner to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.

Qualifications
Enjoy working in a skilled nursing facility setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job‑related duties
Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Prior experience in a healthcare environment (minimum of 1 year); preferably in long‑term care
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
Supportive and compassionate
Take pride in providing high quality care
Must‑Haves for Role
High school diploma or GED
Technical school achievement a plus
Hospital or healthcare experience for at least 1 year in maintenance a plus
