CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Warehouse Associate candidates in the Buda, TX area. These positions will handle all warehouse activities, including but not limited to loading and unloading, order fulfillment, cycle counting, and put-away.
Responsibilities
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders to sales associates for processing.
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic.
Complete work safely while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.
Take check calls from drivers to ensure on-time delivery; validate all load data before marking loads as delivered for accounting purposes.
Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, verifying that loads arrive on time and in good condition.
Desired Background/Skills
Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry.
Experience loading and unloading trailers.
Experience using handheld scanners.
Other Information
The pay rate is $18 an hour and the potential work schedules are:
Monday – Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
Monday – Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Tuesday – Saturday 6:00am-2:30pm
Monday – Friday, 4:00pm-12:30am
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday to Saturday (Off Wednesday and Sunday), 4:00pm-12:30am
