
Payroll Specialist

Job Summary
Perform all aspects of audit as assigned within the hospital. Audits may include billing, accounts receivable and payable, and non-financial and clinical areas to ensure policies and procedures are being followed. Position is responsible for the review, accuracy of data and working with operating groups to ensure procedures and policies are understood and followed.
Job Responsibilities
Review/oversee KRONOS timecards via interaction with department timekeepers.
Prepare/process accurate biweekly payrolls in accordance with hospital policies and government regulations.
Reconcile and audit afterpayroll reports, process employees\' voluntary deductions and tax withholding forms, as well as working with Human Resources with the maintenance of the payroll system for all hourly and salaried employees.
Processes paperwork for direct deposit accounts, garnishments, child support, levies, etc.
Answer telephones/assist employees with various issues and concerns.
Possess a understanding of payroll systems and payroll flow, experience with or knowledge of payroll systems a plus (Infor/Lawson, KRONOS, etc.).
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of two (2) years Audit experience.
Preferred Skills & Experience
UKG experience.
Experience with or knowledge of collective barProducting agreements.
