Overview
Griffith Foods is hiring an Intern in our Global Marketing - Seasonings Category team to support the development of a global portfolio architecture within our Seasonings category. This role will focus on bringing clarity and structure to a complex global product portfolio by analyzing existing internal and external solutions, identifying patterns, and supporting the organization of products under a unified Innovation platform. This is your opportunity to be a part of a Global, dynamic marketing team, gaining exposure to cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration, as well as strategy development in a B2B food environment.
Responsibilities
Building a global inventory of existing Griffith Foods products aligned to the Innovation platform, consolidating inputs from multiple regions into a structured database.
Analyzing the portfolio to identify similarities, differences, and inconsistencies in product positioning and naming across markets.
Collaborating with cross-functional partners, including R&D, to understand product and technology differences and inform portfolio grouping.
Conducting external benchmarking to understand how leading companies structure and name product solutions within Innovation platforms.
Supporting the development of a draft portfolio architecture, organizing products into clear, logical groupings under the new platform.
Supporting the development of a marketing toolkit for the first global portfolio launched under the Innovation platform.
What you will bring to the role
Have strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to structure and synthesize complex information.
Have high attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets (e.g., Excel).
Present strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Are comfortable working in a cross-functional and global environment.
Are proactive, curious, and eager to learn, with a structured and problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a bachelor s or master s degree program in Marketing, Business, or a related field with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or beyond.
Availability to work 40 hours/week for 8-12 weeks during Summer 2026.
Summer housing available within a commutable distance of Lombard, IL. Summer housing support is not available.
Willingness to work onsite in Lombard, IL one day per week.
Candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. This role is not available under OPT or CPT, and work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Preferred experiences
Current status as a junior / rising senior in an undergraduate program or a candidate for an MBA.
Previous internship, campus leadership, or project experience in marketing, consumer insights, brand, or related roles.
This role can be onsite or hybrid (1-2 days/week in-office). Griffith Foods embraces WorkFlex, allowing employees to work from home most of the time and offering options like compressed work weeks and flexible schedules.
