Compensation:

$14.00/hour

Summary: This job is responsible for cleaning rooms, clearing trash, and moving/setting up equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities . Other duties may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Floor maintenance like sweeping and mopping

Dusting and disinfecting all surfaces like window sills, locker doors and tops, desk and table tops Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms

Emptying trash

Ability to operate cleaning equipment

Move and set up furniture/classroom equipment

Reports items in need of repair to supervisor

Punctual and strong work ethics and attendance

Competencies that must be demonstrated:

Arrives on time to work and

Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner

Works independently and follows written and verbal instructions accurately

Understands business implications of decisions

Follows safety and security procedures

Respectful talk with all people/children encountered

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty and competency and complete all pre-employment paperwork and requirements.

Candidates must meet all applicable federal and State of Ohio employment laws and regulations, including those related to the employment of individuals under 18 years of age.

Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple documents and labels.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: The work environment is a school serving small children with safety as its priority. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.

Criminal Records Check: Must comply with Ohio Revised Code 3319.39 Criminal Records Check.

Drug Testing: Must pass a drug screen at time of hire and comply with the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988.
