As a Part‑Time Security Guard Patrol Driver in
Springfield, MO , you will serve and safeguard a range of clients across various industries such as utilities. Your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, staying visible to discourage incidents, supporting daily operations with strong customer service and communication, and driving with a company vehicle.

Day‑Thur: 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM; Fri: 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM
What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized access at a utilities location.
Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and communicate with staff, contractors, and visitors regarding site rules, restricted areas, and/or entry procedures.
Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and assisting with security‑related requests in changing indoor and outdoor conditions.
Minimum Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
