
Catering Attendant

The Role at a glance:
We are looking for motivated catering attendants to join our Constellation team in New York, NY. As a catering attendant, you will have the opportunity to provide superior service to our customers throughout the account.
You will be working on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in the 7am-4pm range with the possibility of additional hours depending on business needs. This is a temporary/seasonal position with the possibility of turning into a full time opportunity.
What you’ll be doing:
Pantries – Daily Tasks
Refill napkins, plates (small & large) bowls and utensils (forks, knives, spoons)
Wipe down all counters
Check and clean refrigerator interiors
Coffee Machines / Water Fountain
Refill coffee beans / pods
Refill latte mix and hot chocolate
Restock teas
Restock sugars and stirrers
Refill creamers
Clean drip trays and nozzles
Restock hot cup lids, sleeves, stirrers
Maintain cleanliness of pantry refrigerators. Throw out all food after 2 days.
Complete all daily and weekly cleaning assignments
Conference Room Setup – Daily Task Beginning to End
Before Event
Review conference room reservation and/or event order, inform Management if any concerns
Prepare all food and beverage items
Set out table runners
Arrange platters, utensils, plates, napkins
Set up coffee/tea/water stations
Place signage or labels
Ensure that set ups are completed according to catering standards
Refill food as needed
Clear empty dishes/trash discreetly
Keep counters tidy and organized
Break down food stations
Clean and sanitize all surfaces
Collect serving utensils, trays, platters and wash
Return room to standard setup
End-of-Shift Tasks
Full restock of all pantries
Check supply levels and report items needed
Clean and sanitize equipment
Ensure refrigerators and coffee machines are cleaned
Empty all trash/recycling
Return equipment to designated area
Perform all other required tasks as assigned by management
