
PBX Operator - Evenings

Managing all incoming telephone communications directed to the hospital’s main line, the physician’s answering service, and the internal operator system. Responsible for welcoming visitors, providing reception and paging services, coordinating emergency response communications across the facility, monitoring hospital alarm panels, and utilizing two‑way radios to maintain oversight and prompt communication throughout the hospital.

Required Qualifications
Previous switchboard experience in a healthcare setting.
Answering service experience or answering phones at large organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare.

Pay Range: $22.50 – $38.82. Additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
