About the role
The Royal Women’s Hospital is the key site in Australia for advanced training in sexual and reproductive health. This fellowship is specifically designed to deliver all of the curriculum requirements for the RANZCOG Advanced Training Module (ATM) in Contraception, Abortion and Sexual Health, which has run since 2015.

Training and responsibilities
Full time, fixed term role commencing 03/08/2026 – 31/01/2027
Parkville location with multiple public transport options
Rotation of 6 months including at least 2 contraception clinics per week, 2 operating lists per week and additional family planning lists per fortnight
Supervised early pregnancy scanning sessions twice per week and opportunity to undertake a research project
Training in comprehensive contraception provision, adolescent consultations, perimenopausal contraception, medical and surgical abortion techniques across first and second trimesters, early pregnancy USS and management of complications, and CCPU qualification
About you
MB BS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent qualification
Candidates who are accredited RANZCOG trainees are preferred
Medical Practitioner Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum of four years accredited training experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
