Job Description
The West Plains School District is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of middle school ELA teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. West Plains Middle School houses approximately 550 students in grades 5-8 and has a rich tradition of excellence. The successful candidate will possess the ability to actively engage students in the learning process, provide opportunities for students to achieve their maximum potential, and interpret and utilize data to support curriculum decisions and determine effectiveness of instruction. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities, Missouri Learning Standards, and Response to Intervention.
