
Middle and High School Teacher of Spanish

As The International School of Texas (IST) continues to grow, we announce our search for a full-time educator to teach Middle and High School Spanish, beginning in August 2026. This position’s primary responsibility will be to teach students in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IBMYP), Grades 6-10. This position will join a team of highly qualified, motivated, and professional educators in our Secondary Division.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must have experience teaching Spanish language to Middle and High School level.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, IST faculty have the opportunity to lead a variety of extracurricular and club activities that enrich the IST experience. From soccer and art clubs to robotics, coding, and cross-country, IST Trailblazers take their learning outside of the classroom through their participation in clubs and teams that enrich their bodies and minds.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field.
Master’s Degree preferred and increased stipend rewarded.
Two or more years of Middle School teaching experience.
Pedagogical best practices integrated with SEL/Mindfulness.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
International Baccalaureate experience is preferred but not required
