Overview
Registered Nurse – Charge, Barton, Vermont, United States. This travel temporary assignment starts 05/01/2026 for several weeks in a long‑term care (LTC) setting.
Weekly pay: $2,211–$2,370 per week
Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week
Contract duration: several weeks
Shift: Day and/or evening; two 16‑hour shifts and one 8‑hour shift; rotating every other weekend

Setting: Long‑term care (LTC) – Nursing Home in Barton, VT
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents as the charge nurse in a LTC setting
Lead, supervise, and delegate to licensed and non‑licensed nursing staff (LPNs/CNAs) to ensure quality care
Assess residents, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders; monitor responses and document findings
Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and continuity of care
Monitor for changes in resident condition and respond to clinical emergencies as needed
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse license in Vermont (VT)
Nursing degree (RN) from an accredited program
Ability to work in a long‑term care environment with rotating day/evening shifts and weekend rotation
Demonstrated ability to supervise and collaborate with nursing staff and coordinate patient care
Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment and meet assignment‑specific onboarding requirements
