What you will do:
Accurately check and receive inbound products and confirm the shipment is consistent with the purchase order.
Restock inventory neatly, efficiently, and accurately in assigned locations.
Utilize radio frequency (RF) guns to pull product from goods-to-person or from pallet areas to fulfill customer orders.
Ensure that all customer orders are pulled efficiently and accurately.
Palletize customer material based on delivery routes ensuring that all items are handled properly.
Stage customer orders in an organized manner at the proper dock locations.
Safely load pallets onto trucks based on delivery routes using the last in, first out method.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
What you will bring:
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
Attention to detail and good time management skills.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks. Training will be provided.
This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.
Salary Range: $19-$22/hr.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7am start
