Cooper Electric Supply, LLC offers electrical products and services to contractors throughout the northeast. This role supports our distribution operations and contributes to delivering reliable electrical solutions.
Responsibilities
Accurately check and receive inbound products and confirm that shipments are consistent with purchase orders.
Restock inventory neatly, efficiently, and accurately in assigned locations.
Utilize radio frequency (RF) guns to pull product from goods‑to‑person or from pallet areas to fulfill customer orders.
Ensure that all customer orders are pulled efficiently and accurately.
Palletize customer material based on delivery routes, ensuring items are handled properly.
Stage customer orders in an organized manner at the proper dock locations.
Safely load pallets onto trucks based on delivery routes using the last‑in, first‑out method.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
Attention to detail and good time‑management skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize needs in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
Ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
Ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks (training provided).
