Responsibilities
Attend to residents’ individual needs, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
Take and record vital signs, lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics.
Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff, and ask clarifying questions as needed.
Communicate effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
Assist nurses with various duties as directed.
Requirements
At least one year of CNA experience in a long‑term care setting preferred.
Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
Current state certification as a CNA.
Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.
