
Patient Care Technician - Pending Certification

Job Overview
Our Patient Care Technicians provide high‑quality care to patients suffering from the most advanced stage of chronic kidney disease, known as END Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). As a PCT you will monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording statistics, initiating cannulation, observing patients, and setting up the hemodialysis machine. Technicians must combine technical skills with a genuine passion for building deep relationships with patients and improving their quality of life.
Responsibilities
Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
Measure and record vital statistics.
Initiate cannulation and observe patients during treatment.
Set up and maintain hemodialysis machines.
Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity of high‑quality patient care.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Desire to care for people and comfort working around blood and needles.
Experienced PCTs must hold current certification from BONENT, NNCC, NNCO, or an equivalent state‑approved certification.
All experienced PCTs must have current BLS/CPR certification.

Salary Range
$19.00 – $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
