Responsibilities

A Patient Care Specialist 2 (PCS2) contributes to AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
Perform medical assistant clinical functions including phlebotomy.
Front office duties and administrative tasks such as processing patient referrals and identifying and verifying insurance coverage.
Participate in cross-functional rotations to support multiple healthcare center functions.
Collaborate with other AHF employees and departments to provide compassionate, high-quality care and uphold the organization’s mission and values.
You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. The PCS2 will work as part of a close-knit team to ensure the healthcare center operates seamlessly and that patients receive excellent care and a positive experience.

Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications: MA Diploma required; National Certification preferred.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and cross-functionally support clinical and administrative duties.
