Production Supervisor
We are searching for a Production Supervisor to support the production operation responsibilities at our Salisbury, NC branch.
Responsibilities
Monitor processes to verify conformance to specifications and direct adjustments needed to avoid or correct issues
Obtain product samples and perform quality testing
Visually inspect product for defects
Adjust product formula to maintain product quality standards
Plan and schedule employees for required tasks
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment usage to increase efficiency of the department or work crew
Generate work orders as needed
Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving them
Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
Maintain time and production records
Ensure all employees are adequately trained to perform tasks
Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems
Qualifications
3-5 years of industrial experience
1-2 years of supervisory experience
High school diploma or GED
Excellent interpersonal skills
Basic computer and writing skills
