Fabric Library Intern (Summer Internship)
We are looking to bring on a Summer Intern to support our Design Team. This role is ideally for academic credit, though minimum wage compensation may be considered based on the candidate.
The Fabric Library Intern supports the design team by organizing and managing both physical and digital fabric libraries. This role is key to maintaining an efficient, design‑ready workspace through cataloging materials, tracking inventory, and assisting with fabric sourcing and sample preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and maintain fabric libraries, storage areas, and development materials
Catalog fabrics, swatches, and trims; update tracking spreadsheets and sample tags
Prepare and manage fabric samples for internal teams and external partners
Assist designers with fabric pulls for presentations and projects
Support administrative tasks including shipping/receiving and presentation prep
Conduct research on fabrics, pricing, and material specifications
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in fashion, design, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Team player with a proactive attitude
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
