Responsibilities
As a Production Technician – Part Time set hour options within core first shift (7am-3:30pm) hours, 32 hours per week, perform a variety of routine production duties while adhering to Caterpillar’s core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, commitment, and sustainability.
Work within and across zones on the production floor in the areas of assembly, fabrication, paint or other production areas, ensuring safety, quality and standard work protocol are followed.
Use basic tools to accurately assemble both purchased and manufactured parts into finished product, operate machinery, perform applications for blasting and painting, and use welding equipment to perform basic tack and straight-line welds.
We offer a competitive pay rate of $16.45 per hour and the opportunity to be eligible for full time in a short time.
Basic Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule where attendance and punctuality are required
Ability to safely perform work accurately and thoroughly
Ability to stand for prolonged periods, performing repetitive work
Ability to produce quality work at a sustained pace
Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment and work effectively with people regardless of age, gender, race, religion or job type
Demonstrates ability to follow directions and standard work
Preferred
3-6 months of manufacturing and/or related work experience

1st Shift – PART TIME (within the core Hours: 7a.m. - 3:30 p.m)
Compensation:
$16.45 per hour, + quarterly Goal Sharing Bonus

Schedule Details and Hours:
This is a part time position. An average of 32 hours a week maximum can be worked. Scheduled hours would be pre-approved and would fall between the hours of Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM. Change in schedule may be required with advance notice. Additionally, current schedule offerings are subject to change with advance notice.
