We are looking for a
staff accountant
to join our team on our Nicholasville campus. This position will manage accounting procedures to ensure our overall financial health.
Responsibilities
Implement accepted accounting transactions. Activity areas include accounts receivable and payable, cash receipts, bank statements, payroll, general and subsidiary ledger entries.
Financial reporting preparation and reconciliation, bank statements, budget reporting, and tax. Resolves any discrepancies that may occur.
Review and balance all monthly accounts. Prepare monthly financial statements and assist in developing year-end reporting. Prepare quarterly and yearly tax reports.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail and knowledge of regional laws/regulations.
Required
Must be 21 years of age
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
Strong math skills
Deep knowledge of accounting principles
Excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to handle information confidentially
Familiarity with accounting software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proven experience meeting regular deadlines
