
Expeditor - 2nd Shift

The Expeditor is responsible for creating and managing
remake orders
for defective or nonconforming mats and rubber anti‑fatigue products. This role maintains accurate inventory control of overruns and returned materials while ensuring
remake orders
are efficiently guided through all stages of the flooring manufacturing process—from raw material preparation through finishing and packaging. The Expeditor plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, minimizing waste, and supporting on‑time customer fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Create and issue remake orders for defective or damaged mats, rubber anti‑fatigue mats, and related flooring products
Track remake orders through all phases of production, including cutting, molding, trimming, and packaging
Coordinate closely with production, customer service and warehouse teams to prioritize remake orders and resolve quality issues
Maintain accurate inventory control of overrun orders, scrap, and returned mats
Review, catalog, and document returned products; ensure proper disposition, rework, or scrap by quality standards
Scan and verify packaged goods to confirm product accuracy, lot traceability, and system updates
Update production and inventory systems with real‑time status of remake orders, material usage, and completed products
Monitor defect trends related to materials, processes, or execution and communicate findings to leadership
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and inventory control procedures throughout the production floor
Expeditor will also time‑to‑time cover for trimming personnel and other areas as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in manufacturing, flooring production, factory manufacturing, expediting, or inventory control preferred
Familiarity with production flows for mats, rubber goods, or flooring products is a plus
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately track multiple remake orders
Basic computer skills and experience using production or inventory tracking systems
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Manufacturing and production floor environment involving rubber materials and mat products
Ability to walk the production floor and warehouse frequently
Ability to lift, inspect, and handle mats, packaged goods, and materials as required
Must follow all safety and PPE requirements
