The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in maintaining production equipment, ensuring a safe working environment, and contributing to the overall success of our facility. Essential Functions

Maintain a safe working environment, following all environmental, health, and safety policies.

Demonstrate a strong attendance record, safety history, and disciplinary track record.

Knowledge and experience with semi‑automatic or automatically operated machinery.

Strong mechanical knowledge, experience, and troubleshooting skills.

Installation and maintenance of various components including belts, drums, lacing, tracking adjustments, etc.

Use and maintenance of small tools, electric/pneumatic tools, and understanding of Single Phase and Three Phase wiring.

Familiarity with electronic components such as Proximity Switches, Photo Eyes, Limit Switches, etc.

V‑belt drives maintenance, shaft and sprocket replacement, roller chain construction, lubrication, and repair.

Perform lubrication with grease and oils on all machinery.

Welding and forklift maintenance.

Troubleshoot and replace hydraulic system components.

Maintenance/repair of roofs, doors, windows, drains, restrooms, grounds, and more.

Troubleshoot electric circuits – wiring, controls, relays, starters, switches, disconnects, heaters, fusing, etc.

Make adjustments to equipment to ensure quality.

Complete records and inventory of supplies necessary for job performance.

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical devices and equipment.

Use general shop equipment and measuring tools such as lathes, mills, calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.

Ability to work independently or collaboratively to diagnose and correct mechanical & electrical problems.

Accept constructive criticism and handle high‑stress situations calmly and effectively.

Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.

Expected Hours of Work

1st Shift – 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Monday‑Friday)

Ability and willingness to work extended hours, alternate shifts, holidays, and weekends when needed.

Overtime hours are required.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Completion of a Journeyman apprenticeship program preferred.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise levels.
