Automotive Title Clerk

Position Overview
The Automotive Title Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring all vehicle transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations. This position is responsible for completing motor vehicle paperwork, submitting documentation to the DMV, and maintaining organized, up‑to‑date title records.

You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, brokers, and external agencies to ensure a smooth and timely titling and registration process.

What You’ll Do

Process title and registration paperwork for new and used vehicles

Prepare titles for wholesale and auction transactions, including dealer resales

Submit and manage legal documents with the DMV and other agencies

Verify the accuracy of deal paperwork, titles, and payments

Maintain organized title records and track outstanding title work

Communicate with internal departments, brokers, and external partners

Stay current on state title laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

Assist clients and brokers with title, registration, and plate inquiries

Follow up on outstanding wholesale trade titles, including those with payoffs

What You Bring

1+ year of automotive title clerk experience (preferred, not required)

Knowledge of automotive title processes and compliance requirements

Strong attention to detail with high data‑entry accuracy

Excellent communication and follow‑up skills

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

A positive, team‑first attitude with the ability to work independently

Reliability and strong work ethic

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Authorized to work in the United States

Ability to pass a pre‑employment background check

$24.00 – $26.00/hour
