The National/Alamo brand offers an exciting Return Agent position. The Return Agent will provide superior, friendly, and efficient service throughout the rental car return process, including greeting customers, ensuring the vehicle is returned correctly, handling paperwork, and reporting.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour plus potential bonus opportunities. The position is located at the Indianapolis Airport – 7801 Col H Weir Cook Mem Dr, Suite 151, Indianapolis, IN 46241.

Monday – 4:00 am to 12:00 pm

Tuesday – 4:00 am to 12:00 pm

Wednesday – OFF

Thursday – 4:00 am to 12:00 pm

Friday – 4:00 am to 12:00 pm

Saturday – OFF

Sunday – 4:00 am to 12:00 pm

Responsibilities

Greet all customers using prescribed dialogue as they arrive on the lot

Remind customers to check for personal belongings

Identify any items found in the vehicle, record them with unit number, date, time, and turn into lost and found

Advise and review rental charges; provide an accurate receipt to the customer

Provide information in a professional and courteous manner regarding transportation to the airport terminal

Thank customers using prescribed dialogue

Inquire about service, capture satisfaction, and document dissatisfaction

Discreetly inspect vehicle for incoming damage and direct customer to counter for damage/loss report

Check whether the vehicle is returned with a full tank of gas

Complete a service alert for any mechanical or body damage communicated by the customer

Identify vehicles on system hold for turnback, time, mileage, recall, or other special lock; verify movement to proper lot

Tag vehicles flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance; verify movement to proper lot

Maintain lot organization for ease of access and traffic flow

Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting

Maintain a reliable level of attendance and punctuality

Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old

High school diploma or GED required

Minimum one year of customer‑service, retail, or administrative support experience

Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents in the past two years

No drug or alcohol‑related convictions on driving record in the past five years

Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship in the present or future
