As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized resident-centered nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan
Record all charting into Point Click Care accurately and appropriately
Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure
Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift
Participate in receiving report/giving report to oncoming shift and follow established policies concerning exposure of blood/body fluids, infection prevention, and infection control
Requirements
Must possess a GED or High school Diploma
Must be licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of this state
Must have effective oral and written communication skills
Must meet all local health regulations and criminal background checks, post-offer drug test, and post-offer physical exam, if required
Must maintain all required licenses, certifications, and continuing education requirements
Must be able to obtain and record vital signs manually and electronically
Additional Requirements
Must stay compliant and up-to-date on Relias education for the 12 hours required by state to maintain CNA certification
Must attend and participate in scheduled mandatory in-services and education
Must possess basic communication skills, knowledge of normal and abnormal aging sensory changes, and relationship to resident safety
Must be able to use all equipment and have knowledge of how the equipment works
