Afternoon CNA Position
$2000 Sign on Bonus paid out bi-weekly
$3 an hr shift differential
$2 an hr weekend hourly incentive
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at William Penn Care Center in Jeannette, PA. As an Afternoon CNA, you will provide high-quality resident-centered care and services to our seniors in need of skilled nursing care.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized resident-centered nursing care and services in accordance with their assessment and care plan
Record all charting into Point Click Care accurately and in a timely manner
Report all changes/incidents in the resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Licensed Practical Nurse immediately
Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information and report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure
Ensure all residents are treated fairly, with kindness, dignity, and respect
Perform daily personal care functions, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with feeding, medication management, and vital sign monitoring
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to our residents
Requirements
Possess a GED or High School Diploma
Be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to meet all local health regulations and criminal background checks, post-offer drug test, and post-offer physical exam (if required)
Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and continuing education requirements
Ability to obtain and record vital signs manually and electronically
Education and Training
Must stay compliant and up-to-date on Relias education for the 12 hours required by state to maintain CNA certification
Must attend and participate in scheduled mandatory in-services and education
Safety and Sanitation
Maintain appropriate hand hygiene
Utilize and understand proper personal protective equipment and when to use it
Properly dispose of PPE equipment after use
Report all safety and hazardous conditions and equipment to the Nurse Supervisor/Licensed Practical Nurse immediately
Equipment and Supply Functions
Must be able to use all equipment and have knowledge of how it works
Use supplies mindfully and do not be wasteful
Report defective equipment to the Nurse Supervisor and Maintenance
