Position Summary
The TAS is a critical role in our customer model to execute the BMS aspiration to be the BioPharma that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs), driving adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients.
The primary role of the TAS is to drive demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio for appropriate patients, engaging HCPs with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue aligned with the label, and leveraging CE^3.
The TAS builds professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs in private practice, medical groups, office staff, and other stakeholders as their primary contact. The TAS liaises with other BMS functions to deliver a higher Customer Experience (Cx) by meeting HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. The role prioritizes safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on business results and BMS values. The TAS is field-based and is anticipated to spend 100% of time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
Maintains scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
Uses CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback for continuous improvement.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
Demonstrates scientific expertise using approved resources to present information to HCPs accurately.
Conducts in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns) aligned with label information.
Organizes external speaker programs and scheduling/logistics with approved speakers.
Maintains working expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
Engages Medical on Call to address unsolicited questions and complex inquiries.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborates with other field teams to enhance Customer Experience for HCPs.
Gathers and shares insights internally with stakeholders to better serve customers.
Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing conduct.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
Ability to communicate scientific data accurately to physicians and other HCPs.
Proven credibility with key customers and network through a customer-centric mindset and desire to create differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).
Experience in Oncology required.
Strong account management and sales performance track record.
Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
Strong selling and promotional skills with a results-oriented track record.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation overview: Field - United States - US: $144,500 - $175,100. Starting range listed for full-time employees; additional incentive cash and stock may be available based on eligibility. Final compensation based on experience.
