Security Generalist/F-35/Eglin AFB - Level 1

Position Overview
This position is located at Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and will support the F‑35 Lightning II Program. The role will perform duties as a Security Generalist and will be responsible for security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F‑35 Integrated Training Center (ITC) and / or F‑35 Fighter Squadrons.
Responsibilities
Assist instructors, students and visitors using facilities.
Operate badging and access control systems.
Monitor security camera systems.
Perform random searches.
Enforce all USAF and local security procedures and practices, including controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC (acting as COMSEC/SVRO Custodian as needed).
Provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers.
Change combinations and generate SF 700s.
Assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections.
Perform and document vault alarm tests.
Assist in security investigations.
Assist in providing training and scheduling of Level 1 Security Generalists in specified locations.
Escort un‑cleared personnel within classified areas.
Support first, second, or third shift operations, including weekends as required; shifts may be adjusted to support mission requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Experience providing oversight to multi‑functions of security.
Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years of the investigation closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
Industrial and/or military security experience.
Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
Desired Skills
Experience working on the F‑35 Program.
Knowledge of ICD 705 Physical Security.
Previous SAP experience and knowledge of DoD 5205.07.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multi‑task and work in a team setting to achieve common goals.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a US citizen. Clearance Level: Secret with investigation or CV date within 5 years.
