Based in Irving, Texas or Las Vegas, Nevada, this role supports the successful delivery of high‑quality print and graphics for trade shows and live events. The Expo Group is seeking a Production Artist to prepare, proof, and finalize artwork for print, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and on‑time delivery while meeting client specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure design specifications, quality standards, and deadlines are met
Input client copy into established templates and style guides provided by graphic designers
Modify templates to accommodate special requests, sizing changes, and custom needs
Determine the placement, size, and visual hierarchy of design elements
Select fonts, text sizes, and styles in alignment with client preferences and brand standards
Review and proof artwork for accuracy, consistency, and quality at full scale, making corrections as needed
Work closely with project managers to ensure proofs are reviewed, edited, and finalized on schedule
Partner with team members to efficiently handle proofing tasks across shared projects
Track timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
Assist with graphic design support and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Graphic Arts or a related field, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of production art experience without a degree, or 1+ year of internship or professional experience with a degree
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Strong proofreading, typesetting, and attention to detail with solid spelling and grammar skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines
Clear communication skills for working with clients and cross‑functional teams
Basic knowledge of print production processes
Experience in the tradeshow or experiential industry preferred, but not required
Bilingual skills are a plus
