Travel assignment in an acute care setting
Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Assess patient status, plan, implement, and evaluate care while maintaining documentation of outcomes.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in daily patient care and care planning.
Respond to changes in patient condition with appropriate escalation and collaboration with the care team; promote patient safety and infection control practices.
Requirements
Active RN license valid in California or eligibility to practice in California.
Ability to perform professional nursing duties in an ER/acute care setting.
Available to begin a 13-week travel assignment starting May 18, 2026.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
Comfortable working a 12-hour day shift on a 3x12 schedule in an inpatient environment.
