Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care to a diverse patient population across inpatient units, including ventilator management and airway support
Monitor, assess, and adjust respiratory therapies per physician orders; document responses and outcomes
Administer therapies such as oxygen, bronchodilators, aerosols, and airway clearance techniques
Perform outpatient testing when needed, including Stress Tests, Pulmonary Function Tests, and EEG testing
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize patient care and safety
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and adhere to hospital protocols and infection control practices
Requirements
Unrestricted Colorado RT license or ability to obtain prior to start date
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider certification
At least 2 years of well-rounded RT experience with a diverse patient population; outpatient testing experience (Stress Tests, PFT, EEG)
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred; EPIC experience and Spanish language skills preferred
