Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 40.00
Salary Range: $17.00 - $36.00
Pay Info: Eligible for new hire sign‑on bonus!
Schedule
Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 8‑hour varying shifts between 7:00am‑5:00pm
Tues, Thur 8‑hour rotating shifts for nursing home draws between 6:00am‑3:30pm
Every 4th Saturday 8:00am‑3:00pm
Rotating holidays 8:00am‑2:00pm
Duties
Performing phlebotomy and blood collection services to patients of all ages
Preparing samples for pickup
Charting blood draws
Maintaining appropriate supplies inventory
Laboratory Assistant = No certification or previous experience required ($17.00‑25.50)
Senior Laboratory Assistant = Requires active phlebotomy certification ($18.00‑26.50)
Pathology Technician = Bachelor's degree required in biology or related subject ($23.50‑36.00)
Job Summary
Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory‑related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
